Are Halo Dish Covers microwave safe?

Yes. Halo Dish Covers have been independently tested by Intertek and declared microwave safe under the ITS-M0002 microwave safety protocol. During testing, the covers showed no significant changes after repeated microwave cycles.

Important:

  • Use only for reheating or short microwave use.
  • Do not use in ovens, on stovetops, under grills, or with open flames.
  • Always use caution when removing hot dishes from the microwave.

What are Halo Dish Covers made from?

Halo Dish Covers are made from:

  • Main fabric: 100% organic cotton
  • Elastic: polyester and spandex blend

Are Halo Dish Covers washable?

Yes. Halo Dish Covers are machine washable and designed for repeated everyday use.

For best results:

  • Machine wash warm or cold
  • Use fragrance-free detergent if preferred
  • Air dry or tumble dry medium
  • Do not use chlorine bleach

The covers were tested for:

  • dimensional stability
  • colourfastness
  • appearance after laundering

Will the fabric shrink or lose shape?

Halo Dish Covers were tested for dimensional stability after washing and remained within acceptable industry standards, with only minimal shrinkage recorded.

Will the colours fade?

The fabrics were tested for colourfastness to laundering and bleaching and achieved passing results.

Are Halo Dish Covers flame resistant?

Halo Dish Covers passed Class 1 normal flammability testing under ASTM D1230 standards.

However:

  • Keep away from open flames and hot elements.
  • Halo Dish Covers are not oven-safe.
